Diary Crossed the border into Zambia and are now 5044 miles as the crow flies from Bath and about 1400 miles from Cape Town. This is as far north as we are going before turning south again through Namibia to Cape Town. Looking forward to visiting the Victoria Falls which is the only place that David Livingstone gave a non-African name to in all his years exploring. On “discovering” the Victoria Falls in 1855 he said “on sights as beautiful as this, angels in their flight must have paused and gazed” Have decided not to go into Zimbabwe as we really can’t afford the visas which are super expensive for British passport holders.
